Long before Common Purpose became known, a very distinct form of management was being put in place, with the emphasis that a manager was a leader, and those that werent in management were "non" leaders. On more than one occasion my colleagues and I would ask why there was such a discriminatory segregating of staff that all worked towards a common goal in that particular setting, after all we were all working towards a common purpose if you like (lol). Looking back I now realise that many of the out of touch and arrogant empire builders within the council had probably been involved with "leadership training", and I can think of at least two who dramatically became elitist almost overnight, again suggesting some form of personality change. What can we do?, I dont think there is any longer a point, evil is well on the way to triumphing over any good that there was in the civilised world. We are fast hurtling headlong into some distorted version of Planet of the Apes. Let it all collapse, as then maybe, just maybe, a collective wakening may strengthen our resolve to build a better future.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1886189736013458052.post-85777111608700395762008-11-05T10:28:00.000+00:002008-11-05T10:28:00.000+00:00Celtic Morning. depressing stuff but unfortunately...Celtic Morning. depressing stuff but unfortunately, all too true. A friend of mine works for a local authority in a lowly, yet essential position. He told me yesterday that they have regular sessions where, like little children in school, or workers in a Chinese factory, they are indoctrinated with the messages of todays politicians. Emmigration is good for us. Every human being has rights which are inviolate. The usual bullshit. As they sit and listen they dare not make an adverse comment for they would be out of a job very soon and with families to feed that is not an option. I told him he was being brainwashed. He replied that it wouldnt work with him. Maybe it wont, maybe the constant drip will not wear its way into his mind, I will do what I can to counteract it, but it will work with most of the sheep people and history has proven that. Who pays for this? Why we do, the lambs, on their way to the slaughter, cough up the cash to pay the slaughterer. We will soon remember the fallen who gave their lives for their country. They died in vain.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1886189736013458052.post-19861850099243492282008-11-05T09:03:00.000+00:002008-11-05T09:03:00.000+00:00Execellent article, but I take issue on one point.T...Execellent article, but I take issue on one point. Those who voted labour get what they deserve, the tory voters got conned.
