One wonders how many men there are left in the West.
According to reports from the Stop Islamification of Europe (SIOE) protest, then there are not a lot of men left. Only about 200 by all accounts.
Only 200 or so protesters showed up Tuesday for a protest lasting only 30 minutes. The demonstrators faced more than 100 police, backed up by water cannons and helicopters, who closed off streets around the EU headquarters."We support the goals of the demonstration to protest against the lack of freedom of expression in this country," said Frank Vanhecke, the head of the Flemish Interest Party, before he was bundled off to the police station. "And we also fully agree that the rise of Islam in Europe poses a risk to our values."
Disappointing turnout. Must all have been watching the Jeremy Kyle show. Men of the West indeed.

Well well. I came along to see if you'd commented on this, saw that you had and was going to mention my little post on this and see that an 'anonymous' has beaten me to that also. Thanks, anonymous, whoever you are!
ReplyDeleteI have, for a change, something to say in disagreement with Mother Ecclesiastica, and that is that the EU is not a Fascist State. Fascism at least respected the family and had an idea of morality and nationhood. I would put forward the idea that, rather, the EU is a Stasi state. The Stasi having been, as many may remember, the Communist Secret Police force of East Germany and East Berlin in the Cold War era.
All eyes to A Tangled Web for an upcoming article by Mr Paul Weston on this and related issues. I think you'll like this one, boys and girls.
ReplyDeleteDont always believe what you read or see. I recall the petrol strike and on the second evening, when a large turnout was expected at my local refinery, the police had set up roadblocks and were telling people not to bother as it was all over etc. My pal and I rode through though, acknowledging but ignoring the "friendly" policemans advice, and told the organisers. Of course the "friendly" policemen at the demonstration knew nothing of this :-). Buses full of people had been diverted, and the culpable media reorted it as a non-event.
