A couple of quick links to BNP stories

I have been neglecting my main duty by trying to improve the new forum. Sorry.

Here are a couple of stories that will interest you and both to do with the Magic Letters, BNP.

The first article clip is from the Hasting Observer and you can read the full story here.

The leader of the British National Party is coming to Hastings tonight and people seem polarised by the visit.A record number of people visited our website this weekend to read about Nick Griffin's planned visit - with more than 40 letting their feelings known by leaving comments.

Many of these messages were actually in support of the BNP leader but a large number of them were left by people from outside the town - with people as far away as Cumbria and Torquay posting comments.
The second clip is from the Derbyshire Telegraph and may be read here.
Campaigners have vowed to fight plans by the British National Party to hold its annual festival in Derbyshire for the second year in a row.

BNP member Alan Warner wants to attract thousands of people to Red, White and Blue - which he plans to hold in early August on his fields in Codnor-Denby Lane, Denby.
Both articles have had some very good comments from the public and both sites are enjoying the increased numbers of hits to their sites, just by printing the three magic letters. BNP.

If you go visit why not leave a comment of your own.

Whilst I am here, the new forum is up and running and membership growing. Not as fast as the BNP but at least growing. The live chat works just fine and the forum is adding new areas as they are required. Please join it and contribute. Especially news links to stories we might not otherwise know about.

Another advantage or disadvantage of the chat is that you can shout at me whenever you like or push me in the right direction as I am tied to this keyboard by my local organiser.

FOREIGNERS in Leeds will now be fast-tracked to become British citizens – and it will cost less than a passport.

The city's Register Office has launched a Nationality Checking Service, which aims to "remove the stresses" for people who want to become legally British, as well as making the process simpler and quicker.
Foreigners can apply for British citizenship at the Town Hall, under the guidance of staff at the Register Office – and because there is a reduced chance of people making mistakes with their applications, this speeds up the legal process.
In addition, using the fast-track system costs just £45 – compared to £72 for a first adult passport.
Coun Kabeer Hussain (Labour, Hyde Park and Woodhouse) said: "I think this is an excellent service and I am delighted that it is available at the Town Hall in Leeds.
    Peace
"Applying for British citizenship can be a very problematic process so anything that can make the system less fraught is welcome.
"I would urge anyone thinking about applying for British citizenship to take advantage of this service.
"It will give you peace of mind that your application will not be returned by the Home Office because it has not been filled in correctly or something is missing, and make the whole process simpler and quicker."
Under the new fast-track system, which is a joint initiative by Leeds City Council, the Home Office and the Nationality Directorate, staff at the Register Office can check applicants have filled in forms correctly.
They will also ensure that the relevant supporting documents have been photocopied and enclosed, before sending them off to the Home Office.
The fee is £45 for an adult application or £25 for a child application, including VAT, in addition to the standard fee paid to the Home Office.
    Documents
Applicants must also pay a non-refundable deposit of £20 for an appointment with a member of staff.
To find out more information or to book an appointment, phone the citizenship team on 0113 247 6709 or email register.office@leeds.gov.uk.

  3. For the benefit of other readers buggerbognor is a very stupid red who got caught out on the new forum.

Sadly buggerbognor did not realise that we have friends within their ranks.

The enemy or traitor within is a nasty piece of work.

  5. Hi GA,
We were in an amazing village 2 days ago, south of Swindon, we parked our car and went for a walk in the local woods (known as fairyland to the locals) It was full of snowdrops and I thought about our ancestors who had given their lives in battle to ensure our freedom.
Anyway, I digress, outside the pub we were approached by two men who were openly Nationalist and said that they would vote BNP. Even the folk of the sleepy villages are waking up!
    great stuff eh?
