Valley of the Moon

As I was scanning UKTabloids, I was thinking(yes I know what happened last time and I said I would not do it again) about the perilous state our government had brought us to. Deliberately.

And I thought, this is going to be great for some of our young people if the pressure cooker does explode. They are going to either wind up in jail or worse, because of events that were brought about by the agents of the New World Order and the creaters of Eurabia. And through no fault of their own.

So, if there is revolution and civil war on a bigger scale than Kosovo, it will not be the people who have caused it but the governments own doing. I moved my mind away from that unpleasant thought.

Another coffee poured and I decided I would check out what was happening over on the other side of the pond. And what did I find? I was reading some clips from Jack London's Valley of the Moon over on Flanders Fields, when I came across some quotations at the end of his article.

Nice one Sultan Knish and nice one for bringing it to our attention Flanders. Well there were a lot of other quotes there that you will like but you can go see for yourself. But I have brought two over because, well because I wanted to.

And the penultimate is by Abraham Lincoln who sometimes spoke great words but never upheld them.

Nor is this right confined to cases in which the whole people of an existing government may choose to exercise it. Unless of course you are a Confederate wishing for succession, in which case forget it. And the last quote is by old Tricky Dicky himself. Richard Nixon.

Read a book once, well twice actually in which Nixon went to hell. Can't remember the name of it but I thought it quite funny at the time. It was around about the time of Watergate.
