Mega Mosque Debate - Update

A FIERCE public debate was held tonight(Friday) over plans to build Europe's biggest mosque on Waltham Forest's doorstep.

The £100 million structure, dubbed a "mega mosque", would be the biggest in Europe, having space for 10,000 worshippers with a facility to increase this later.

It has been earmarked for a site at Abbey Mills, in Stratford.

The mosque would serve as the UK and European headquarters of the Islamic group Tablighi Jamaat.

Tonight the Christian People's Alliance leader on Newham Council Alan Craig, and Tablighi Jamaat supporter Abdul Khaliq Mian, locked horns at a public debate in Stratford.

Cllr Craig has called for a public inquiry into Tablighi Jamaat following alleged terror links.

At the debate he accused Tablighi Jamaat of having a "them and us" mentality that would damage community relations.

He also criticised the group for keeping low-profile and not taking part in debates.

He said that the idea of an "Islamic" hub to the Olympics goes against everything the Games is supposed to stand for.

He also said that the mosque is likely to have been funded by Saudi Arabian money and criticised what he sees as that nation's religious intolerance.

Cllr Craig also alleged that Tablighi Jamaat had broken planning regulations on its existing mosque on the Abbey Mills site and had not cleaned up contamination.

Although supporting the group, Mr Mian was not speaking as a Tablighi Jamaat representative as the organisation had declined to attend the debate.

Mr Mian refuted the suggestion that Tablighi Jamaat encourages a divisive mentality, saying that the group is peaceful and open to everybody.

He also said that a larger mosque is needed to cater for the people of east London and that the contamination on the Abbey Mills site is safe.

Mr Mian also said that the Christian People's Alliance was not an inclusive organisation itself.

Only the British National Party would have the courage to say NO and then outlaw Tablighi Jamaat and deport all known members. Make your mind up. Mega Mosque or BNP. Mega-Mosque debate Friday 7 September

When the tide turns, the sand castles are washed away and the beach left clean

If you live anywhere near Stratford, London and you are free from 6.15 pm this Friday, then the place to be is Ithaca House, 27 Romford Road, Stratford.

After the huge petition against the Mega Mosque, kicked off by our own sweet English Rose, reached over a quarter of a million signatures against its building, a public debate has been organised to debate the key issues at this free public meeting.

Speaking for the turnips(loud boo) is Abdul Khaliq Mian, a mouthpiece of George Galloway's No Respect Party and a former mega-mosque project manager.

Speaking for the good guys (loud cheers) is Councillor Alan Craig, leader of the Christian Peoples Alliance group on Newham Council. The whole shooting match has been arranged by Newham Moslems group, the Islamic Circles and so you can bet the turnips will be there in force.

“I’m delighted we are to debate the mega-mosque issue face-to-face at last,” said Cllr Craig, who has been the leading East London opponent of the project. “I first asked for discussions with mosque promoters Tablighi Jamaat over a year ago but they have always refused to meet. This is the first real opportunity to do democracy, and I expect the debate to be hard-hitting but civilised.”Cllr Craig also criticised the stance taken by Ken Livingstone over the mega-mosque. “This debate will also serve to publicly discredit the Mayor’s offensive and unfounded slur that opposition to the mosque is by nature Islamophobic and BNP-inspired,” said Alan Craig. “It isn’t. Many Muslims oppose the Tablighi Jamaat mega-mosque, and non-Islamic local opposition is rational, reasoned and based on respect for our Muslim fellow citizens. We stand against BNP hate-mongering.“Of course the Mayor’s unreasoned biased backing for the mega-mosque simply strengthens the cause of all opponents.“Fortunately he has no planning powers over the Olympic zone, so he cannot directly impact the final planning decision about the mosque.”

I am fed up with putting my little cotton socks back on. Laugh. You just gotta. Especially at thisislondon from the Evening Standard.

They are saying that the British National Party manipulated the Downing Street email collecting site to stir up racial hatred. Some of us would rather say "raise legitimate concerns".

Unable to comprehend that Jill Barham, better known as our own English Rose might just have started the petition off her own back they have to jump up on the grassy knoll and start looking for the real organisers.

Linking Jill to Chris Hill who according them is a notorious BNP activist. Well done that man. It is nice to get recognition for your efforts. The clowns say that the nationalists hijacked the petition. Can they cannot comprehend the concern of the people?

Disappointment though in Newham Councillor Alan Craig, a member of the the Christian People's Alliance. He issued a press release highlighting the petition's success but admitted to refusing to sign it despite being against the Mosque. A religious leader who will not fight for what he believes in is not worth having.

In the future, with BNP Councillors on planning committees you can imagine how succesful requests for plans like these will be answered. The British National Party is the only party that really cares about the Land as well as the people who live on it. We hold it in trust.

Response to the Mega Mosque Petition

The Mega Mosque with no planning permission - yet

Read the following vomit inducing bile that will have been received by 277,041 people who signed the Petition started by our own English Rose to abolish plans to build a Mega Mosque.

The e–petition asking the Prime Minister to ‘Abolish plans to build a £100 million mega Mosque’ has closed. This response from the Government was issued in advance of the closing date.

Under planning legislation, local planning authorities are responsible for the day to day control of development in their area. In doing so they are required to take into account all material considerations including the views of interested persons and particularly local communities.

With respect to the proposal associated with a site near the Olympic development in Newham, we understand from Newham Council that there is no current planning permission or application for a mosque and Newham Council do not expect a planning application in the near future.

The Government believes that where controversial issues such as this arise, all involved should ensure that discussions are conducted in a manner that respects the views of all sections of our communities and in a way that does not raise tensions in local areas.

No attempt to address the concerns of over a quarter of a million people. No denial. And what are we to make of the statement "in the near future". How near is near? A day? A week? A month? Do they think we will forget this? Well no. They just do not care. All they hear are voices of the other lunatics they associate with in their luxury Ivory Tower.

They then add insult to injury with an attempt to push their candidate, Red Ken the Lizard Man for re-election in the coming race for Mayor of Londonistan. Visit his site but have a sick bag ready. I also noticed that this reply on their site as changed from an earlier one which was even more insulting to our intelligence. I should have taken a screen image. Sorry.

If you want a government that will listen then let us hope that by now you are a member of the British National Party. It would be nice to think that you have already done a leaflet drop with your new comrades in the BNP.

Stop the London Mega Mosque

New Mosque? No thanks. I am trying to cut back on them

This petition, started by a fellow Nationalist Blogger, English Rose really shows the depth of feelings of the British public towards those enrichers of Our Country who are intend on molding Our Country to fit their medieval view of the world.

Since it was started just a few short months ago, the numbers of signatures it has received has grown daily and it is now the most popular petition on the Downing Street website. So popular in fact, that there have been many demands from Moslem organisations to have it removed. Even Gordon the Moron knows better than to try that stunt.

Well this petition closes on the 18th of July and so it beholds us to make one last big push to make it even larger. Let us show the government that, we, the British People have had a enough of our unwanted guests constant demands.

We must persuade everyone we know with an email address to sign this petition before the closure date. This, if you like is a non political party petition although it is being driven by the real True Brits who are Nationalists.

There are currently 125,122 signatories. Let us try to make it a million. Sign now.

The British National Party would not need a petition from the people on such a subject because they are the people. You are the people. You, the True Brits are the BNP.

Action Update

Drop on over to the Conservative Home and leave a comment about Nick Bourne, the Leader of the Welsh Conservatives who has just been found guilty by the Standards Committee. Bourne is the pink doughnut who said the BNP were less than human. See you there.
