Hardline Islamic law could be introduced across Malaysia under reforms proposed by the country's chief justice.As the nation in south-east Asia celebrated 50 years of independence from Britain yesterday, its government was preparing to discuss a plan that would revolutionise the legal system put in place by its former colonial administrators.

As Kuala Lumpur witnessed celebrations that included parades, fireworks and a fighter-jet fly-by attended by the Duke of York, the proposal pointed to the deep differences which locals say are poisoning social relations beyond the glitter and skyscrapers of Malaysia's modern capital city.

Ahmad Fairuz, the chief justice, told an Islamic conference in Kuala Lumpur that 50 years of independence had failed to free Malaysia from the "clutches of colonialism". Sharia law should be "infused" into the gaps created by abolishing common law, he said.

Malaysia's non-Muslim Chinese and Indian communities, who form 40 per cent of the population, are alarmed at creeping Islamisation.Abdul Badawi, this month joined other leaders for the first time in denying what the British-authored constitution has said for 50 years - that Malaysia is a secular state.

Sharia law already operates in some Malaysian states and is occasionally applied to non-Muslims, as in July when Islamic officials forcibly separated a Hindu-Muslim couple with six children after 21 years of marriage.

The majority ethnic Malays are defined as Muslim by law and forbidden from converting.

Racial tensions are already high due to official discrimination in favour of Malays, who enjoy better employment opportunities, preferential loans and lower house prices.

Dr Mohd Hatta, of the Islamic Party, welcomed the latest proposal in principle, but said: "The chief justice should be enforcing laws, not making them."

Meanwhile, dissent is increasingly harshly repressed. Journalists and bloggers say they are tailed by police and their phones are tapped.

If you want your family to avoid being a Dhimmi slave in Their Own Country then you had better stop being a wimp. Get up of your knees and join the British National Party. The future of Christianity under Islam

The establishment press would have us believe that Malaysia is a moderate Muslim country. But you and I know that nothing could be further from the truth. They are sliding into the Abyss and non Muslims are paying the price.

As the cancer of Islam has spread throughout that doomed land, so has the violence and intimidation towards non turnips increased.

That sick, sick land has now approved stiffer penalties and has passed laws stating that anyone found guilty of trying to convert Muslims will face six lashes, five years in prison and a fine of us$ 3,000. Sounds fairly moderate to me. Elsewhere, the cult usually just beheads you and as done with it.

In an effort to keep the Mad Moslems happy, they have also passed a law giving a cash bonus of US$ 2,700 with a US$ pension of 270 a month, free housing and a car if they marry and convert one of Malaysia indigenous population to Islam.

And yet the Tri-Axis parties still peddle the same old rubbish that Islam is a religion of peace and point to Malaysia as a shining example of a secular society.

If you want the truth and you think you can handle the truth, then get aboard the British National Party express and take your seat with the rest of the True Brits riding the BNP train to a better future.

A free thinking woman living under Sharia Law

In Malaysia - The one to watch, I highlighted the case of a brave Hindu woman by the name of Lina Joy who had converted to Christianity and wished for the details to be changed on her official documents. Her government insists that she is a Muslim. I also mentioned the fact that the Book Burnings had begun in that doomed country.

After the Lina Joy case – the Malay women whose conversion to Christianity was not recognised by the Federal Court, who judged it to be an issue for the “Islamic tribunal” – increasing doubts about the existence of freedom of belief and faith in the country.

Where is Lina Joy now. Where do you think? Prison, being re-educated. Lucky woman. She could live in Pakistan which has just drafted a law saying that the Penalty for anyone leaving the Cult of the Dead Paedophile is death.

The real reason non Moslems are not allowed into Mecca

Poor sad Malaya. They have not actually started burning books yet but they are very close to it now as they slip closer to edge of the Islamic pit of hell.

The Malaysian Internal Security Ministry has published a a list of 37 banned books on the grounds that they could undermine the faith of Moslems. The truth has a way of doing that.

Malaysia - The one to watch.

I must confess to having a soft spot for Malaya and that part of the world in general. Did I really walk into Raffles in Singapore wearing a Pith helmet?

Now many years later I am interested in Malaya for different reasons then those of a young, single sailor. JB, KL, Tiger Beer and Bars. Lots of bars.

For many decades, the numbers of the Cult of the Dead Paedophile have been slowsly increasing in Malaysia and now they make up 60% of the population. So Islam is the official "religion" and Sharia Law rules regardless of their Constitution saying that there is freedom to practice any religion.

Well they have a problem out there now - and we all know the ending. Bloodshed. You see, ethnic Malays are deemed Muslim at birth and regardless of their wishes they are not permitted to convert to another religion. The consequences are fines, jail or even death for those who dare become Christians.

Well some brave woman has taken the crazies on and challenged them in the Law Courts.

Kuala Lumpur - Malaysia's highest court will rule next week on whether a Muslim has the right to convert to another faith, lawyers said on Friday, in a test case that could shake society in the mainly Muslim country.

The Federal Court, the country's highest civil judicial authority, will announce on May 30 if it has decided to acknowledge the decision of Lina Joy to convert to Christianity and give up Islam, the faith she was born into.

"We're all awaiting with bated breath a case which has a great impact on the course that the country will take," Benjamin Dawson, Joy's lawyer, told Reuters.

Islam is Malaysia's official religion, so Muslims who decide to switch faiths pose a tricky legal question for the government of the multiracial, multi-religious nation.

Ethnic Malays, who make up just over half of Malaysia's 26 million people, are deemed Muslims from birth.

Constitutionally, freedom of religion is guaranteed. But in reality, conversion out of Islam falls within the ambit of sharia or Islamic courts. And sharia law prescribes fines or jail for those who renounce Islam, effectively ruling out the option.

Well here is wishing Ms Lina Joy luck. She is a very brave woman but I do not hold out any hope for the future of Malaysia. The cult will first burn the remaining churches, force the Christians to either flee, convert or die as they did in Kosovo when our Country betrayed the Christians there. Then look out Singapore. Just as the Japanese came down the causeway so shall the Moslems.

Will that wake up the sleeping British Lion? Probably not. One thing is for sure. The only true Defender of the Faith is the British National Party.

The history of men's opposition to women's emancipation is more interesting perhaps than the story of that emancipation itself.
