Dame Vera and the BNP
Daily Mail Reporter with egg on face to see Editor later today:)It really is nice to start the day with a laugh and a smile. And an unknown journalist on the Daily Backstabber has certainly done that for me today.
Now I know one really should not take pleasure in others misfortune but in the case of the unknown hack on the Backstabber, he or she brought it on themselves by not checking their facts before submitting copy.
Later today, after wiping the egg from their face they will probably be finding themselves up in front of the Old Man for a severe dressing down. I should also imagine they will get some stick from their colleagues also. Red faces all around, more publicity for the BNP and a laugh to start the day off with.
Actually, before I do anything, I had better take a screen shot of the article I am laughing about. I suspect it may not be about for long, in fact I might as well use it as the caption for the story.
The Backstabber, along with other ireputable rags are reporting that Dame Vera Lynn is supposedly "furious" after the British National Party used one of her songs on an anti-immigration album they produced,

Is the journalist on crack? Is he even a journalist? Blue Birds over the White Cliffs of Dover does not sound likely to incite racial warfare to me. Although trains and lorry loads of illegal immigrants coming through the tunnel underneath the cliffs might not help racial harmony.
The 91-year-old is said to be 'furious' after the BNP used the recording together with another of her classics, All Alone in Vienna, on the provocative CD.
The album is even named after the White Cliffs song.
The truth of course is somewhat different and when it comes out later today, is when the fun will start for the unknown reporter and those who blindly accepted his writings as fact and published them.

The CD in question, “The White Cliffs of Dover,” is in fact a commercially published CD, available on Amazon.co.uk and other retail outlets, and was not produced by the BNP at all. This fact has not however stopped the media from whipping itself up into a lying frenzy, claiming that the BNP had “put the track on a nationalistic album named after the iconic song.”Like I said. It is good to start the day with a laugh.
On a more serious note, overseas supporters of the British National Party might like to help the BNP by considering buying some items from the excellent Exalibur range of goods. I strongly recommend The White Cliffs of Dover.
One last thing that was brought to my attention by an anonymous commenter. Strange how this country can deport European Parliamentarian, Geert Wilders in under one hour when we cannot deport illegal immigrants and bogus refugees ever.
