The One Party State is almost upon us
Your choiceYou and I have known for a long, long time, that there is absolutely no difference these days between any of what passes for political parties. They are truly the Tri-Axis of Evil. Liebaour, conservatives and iliberal democrats.
Their only purpose now is to serve themselves the politicians and big business. Gone are the days when they fought for the rights of the people and to improve our lives. Gone are the days when they campaigned to make dreams of a better world come true.
Now they only exist as separate parties to give the Jeremy Kyle watching public the illusion of living in a democracy. But soon even that illusion will denied the people. Then the dictatorship will really show itself and trust me, Orwell's 1984 will seem like Utopia.
The unelected Prime Minister of our sad troubled nation shows us the future with his plans to recruit members of the other political parties into his government.

Presumably these "citizen" groups will be appointed by the government.
