The Liberal Democrats and child pole dancers

What is it with the Liberal Democrats and their obsession with young people? If you check out Liars, Buggers and Thieves, you will see they seem to have more than their fair share of paedophiles.

However, I cannot believe they are all like that, although the Lib Dem activists I have met have always seemed to be a little bit "strange".

Now a Liberal council's culture and leisure department are offering free Pole Dancing lessons to 11 year old children in Cardiff. The images shows a pole dancing kit that was sold last year by Tesco.

Now having worked in the City I have seen a few Pole Dancers in operation and the last thing any normal person would want to see is a young girl doing those kind of routines. Here are a couple of comments from a Doctor and some concerned mothers.

Dr Adrian Rogers of Focus on the Family said: 'Pole dancing is an erotic, sexually arousing form of dancing around a pole that is often viewed as a phallic symbol.'

This is not an exercise that should be taught when there are hundreds of better forms of exercise that involve genuinely useful aerobic exercise and team games.'It is foolishness in the extreme.

The people who support this kind of dance class will only have themselves to blame when the children participating in it become precociously sexually aware."

Yesterday mother of two Sue Lloyd, of Roath, Cardiff, said: 'I'm shocked, this is not the sort of thing our children should be involved in. My daughter is 12 and there's no way that I would let her go - you don't know what it might lead to.'They claim it is good exercise but surely we should be encouraging our children to take up something more wholesome.'

Another mother, who didn't want to be named, said: 'Surely pole dancing is not something for children who have just come out of junior school?'

So if this is the kind of things you would like to see your money spend on then just continue to support the old failed political parties. If you would like to see a return to sanity then you have only one choice that just happens to be the best choice. The British National Party. The party with real family values.
