Upperby by-election Carlisle 12 June

I think I will wait for the 69

I have been neglecting some of my self imposed duties and for that I am sorry. There was a by-election yesterday in Upperby, Carlisle and the BNP had put forward two candidates.

The Cumbrian Patriots put up some of their election material that gave an indication of how professional their campaign was going to be and the least I could have done was linked to it.

The results were as follows:-
  • Lab 595
  • Lab 515
  • LD 428
  • Con 346
  • BNP 321
  • BNP 278
  • Con 275
2758 Votes were cast 599 for the British National Party Candidates giving us 21.72%

The two British National Party candidates who turned in an excellent result are Brian Allan and Alistair Barbour. Well done guys we are proud of you and with results like that, it looks as though the foundations are well and truly laid to build a victory come the next election.

That´s a good result! We really seem to be making progress, credit to the lads and lasses from Carlisle.

The significant factor is to look where the Labour deserters are going. Of the 12.5% who jumped ship, 1% went LibDhim, 4.5% were CONned, but 7% saw the light and voted BNP!

As Labour goes further into meltdown in its traditional heartlands the BNP will benefit disproportionately.
