B.N.P. Candidates call for ballot box inquiry

Two British National Party Candidates, Jack Goodwin and Chris Goodwin who both failed to get elected in the Richmondshire District Council elections have called for an inquiry along with two other unsuccessful Candidates from other parties.

In a written statement, the candidates said: "We call upon Richmondshire District Council to conduct a thorough inquiry into ballot box procedures."

They also called on the council to make clear what were questionable procedures and practices.

The candidates allege that:

  • Ballot boxes were left unattended overnight without consignment notes showing seal numbers;
  • Ballot boxes were without seals while being prepared for counting;
  • Ballot boxes were not sealed after polling closed;
  • Candidates were not invited to inspect the boxes to ensure they were properly sealed before counting;
  • Ballot boxes were brought to the counting tables already opened.

Gripping stuff hey. Might be worth having a look at the actual results. You can read the rest here.

Those who cast the votes decide nothing. Those who count the votes decide everything.

In the old days there was no need to question the polling day procedures and we could justly claim to be an example to the rest of the world . There was very little cause for complaint . Not any longer . Everyone knows that postal votes are just a desperate system of abuse to keep Labour in power , everyone knows that any newly arrived non English speaking alien can quickly be allowed to vote - because it will be a Labour vote . And everyone knows that votes , once cast , go missing if it doesnt suit our political masters of the established parties of traitors . We no longer have any moral right to criticise procedures in other countries and we wont have that right until the voting system returns to its old standards . Only those who are medically certified in advance as being physically incapable of getting to a voting booth , or may be out of the country , ( servicemen for example , not visitors to Pakistan !! ) should have a postal vote . And the level of scrutiny should be much more strict . None of this will happen until that happy day when Labour is anihilated and the BNP take over . Please let it be soon .
