The Police working with the Community

I drew a bit of flack the other day by referring to Police Officers as Plods. As someone quite rightly pointed out, there are some very good Police Officers and they do a difficult job. Witness the previous video. That could not have been pleasant.

However, I responded to the flack along the lines, that sadly I had never met these good guys and that my misfortune was to always bump into those like the ones shown in the above video.

Well done the video taker for standing his ground.

Fortunately, I have discovered a way of distinguishing a Plod Officer from a Police Officer. A real Police Officer would never slouch around with their hands embedded in their pockets like some Portuguese pimp. How do I know what a Portuguese pimp looks like? Long story.

Just personal experience but I have always found the uniformed sort to be polite and fairly efficient. Unfortunately, there appears to be an exam they must fail to get into the CID, which is populated by rude dimwits.

Standards in policing have declined along with everything else under this Marxist mob.

Excellent video, GA.

PSCOs: useless.

Most police officers: an embarrassment.

Some police officers: great guys having to work with those morons mentioned above.

Take a look at the WPC in the film: frivolous, cocky, and slovenly.

Why are coppers always in a duo of one man one female? Why isn't one of them an ethnic? I want to see a white male copper on the beat with a disabled, androgynous Eskimo -one who preferably has "mental issues".

The police are a standing joke –purposefully reduced to state servitors; social workers in uniform exacting the Dear Leadership’s fascist laws.

God help us all.

Two police officers doing their job quietly and in a normal manner. Someone's pointing a camera at them. What do you expect them to do? Anyone has the right to ask why a complete stranger is pointing a camera at them, and that includes police officers.
I found the attitude of the cameraman bolshy and provocative.

If you want to know what bad policing is, I suggest you go to any number of countries other than this one and find out for yourself. With an attitude like that, you'd be lucky not to end up with a very sore head and a few days in a stinking prison cell. Or a whole lot worse.

You're making a fuss about nothing. It's the gangs of thugs and organised crime taking over our streets, you should be making a fuss about. Get real.

The best recruits leave before completing the endless diversity training....leaving us with diversities graduates but lousy cops!!
One Asian cop i saw was approx in his shoes 5ft or less just a nice height for most women to sort out.
Their whole stance today does not deserve respect and when they need our help most of us will turn away!

Hi anon cop

The police need cameras on them all the time. They watch us - we should watch them.

I found the attitude of the Police bolshy and provocative. They also appeared to be pig ignorant of the law.

You also sound as if you wish the police had the powers of some of the communist police forces.

I used to have a lot of respect for the police and would have even risked personal injury to assist one but not now.

Now go get some colleagues and see if you can find someone littering.

I used to be a big supporter of the police and believed they were there to look out for and to serve decent ordinary people.

Now though they have become like stormtroopers who think they are above the law and treat people with contempt.

These politicised and politically correct drones are daily losing the respect of ordinary people and the time will come when their sole duty will be to supress the populace at the behest of their political masters.

IF SAID POLICE WERE DOING THEIR JOB CHASING THE THUGS THAT IS EXACTLY WHERE THEY'D BE!
RECALL HOW THEY TREATED THE FOX HUNTING DEMO PEOPLE, AS OPPOSSED TO HOW THEY TREATED THE 06 MOSLRM DEMO?
I'M NO FOX HUNTING PROMO I DETEST THE WHOLE THING BUT EQUAL TREATMENT WAS NOT SHOWN!
AND LETS BE HONEST HERE THEY DO THE GOVERNMENTS BIDDING NOT OURS NO LONGER IS IT POLICING BY CONSENT!
THERE WAS A TIME TAKING PHOTOS OF THE POLICE WOULD HAVE BEEN MET WITH A SMILE NOT THE BOLSHI ATTITUDE THOSE TWO COPS SHOWED.
AND BY THE WAY I TOOK A LOVELY PHOTO OF A COP BEHIND THE THEN IRON CURTAIN IT WAS TRAINS AND SOLDIERS THEY OBJECTED TO BEING PHOTOGRAPHED.

I am not a 'cop', and have never been, so please do not make assumptions. I do not like litter either.
What about the privacy of the other person being filmed, or does that not count?
I visit this site regularly as an active BNP member and I am disappointed. rufustfirefly.

By the way GA, you coming to the HA on Wednesday? We can join up some dots. You can buy me a pint, I may even buy you one or two. I promise not to film you.

Clearly criminal trespass. I would have physically ejected them from my property and there would have been nothing they could have done about it. End of....

GA - very sad to see you encouraging the anti-police types.

It does the party no credit.

This thread is not anti-police. I have already pointed out that there are good and bad. Reference the previous window.

I merely stated that it has been my misfortune only to have met the bad.

The police force of today is not the police force that we once new.

There was a time when I would have risked physical injury assisting a police officer not now.

I will not cataloge their failings since the PC brigade took them over. Like the NHS and education, the Police Service needs reform.

The interesting thing is the FIRST thing the male woodentop says is "its an offence to film the police". But he can't tell you what the offence IS. Because of course there isn't one.

Standard practice, make the bloke on the receiving end feel threatened and inferior.

And surprise surprise when he radios his sergeant, he is told so in no uncertain terms and the video camera picks up the sound of the sergeant saying so.

Ever felt there are some people you just would not piss on if they were on fire ?

It reminded me of a tosser who was thrashing the nuts out of his plod wagon - with no blue lights or sirens - doing a good 120 on a 60 three lane single carriageway road.... IU saw him coming in the distance as I could see his headlights in the verges behind me, and he was covering twenty yards for every ten I was doing at 60. So i had a good thirty seconds warning it was foing to end in tears.

The guy came thundering round a bend realised rather too late that he was about to go right in the back of my wagon, hit the brakes, lost it, and did a bit of a pirouette. I just drove on.

Pissed at being made to look a bloody fool, he turns on his blues and twos, gives chase and pulls ME over.

Good evening ... is this your vehicle sir ... Can I see your driving licence.....

Now in those days the card were not centrally computerised. So they had to radio in the number. AND I knew a thing or two about the time it would take. I start counting down mentally.

"Certainly" I say. But it's in my briefcase in the boot. I'll have to get out and get it ... five .. six .. seven ...

"Ah now, would you mind helping me a bit here .. if you could just take my passenger's WHEELCHAIR out of the boot for me so I can get to my briefcase under it... Thank you SO much ... nineteen .. twenty .. twenty one ..."

At this I lean in, reach for the case, pull the licence and turn to face the plod wagon. where in the passenger seat is a clone of sergeant george dixon. And as he watches his impetuous arsehole of a driver standing in the road lifting a collapsible motorised wheelchair out of my boot you just know he's thinking i TOLD the tosser to leave it ... but would he listen.

And then, as I hand over the licence, in the dark, I count twenty eight, twenty nine ....

And through the open window of the plod wagon you hear the monotone voice ...

Charlie Foxtrot Alpha Fourteen This is Consol Seven Re PCN Vehicle Check Kilo Tango Xray be Advised Vehicle shows Details Withheld On The Authority of The Home Office Over................

Sometimes, just sometimes, it pays to have spent some time working for the forensic science service ..... the perks are few, and far between, but when they come, they are worth it.

Starsky Woodentop's face was a picture. Then he saluted. As he tried to turn away to ensure I couldn't see he was PC 4489. Pity about my amazing memory for numbers innit !

I turned to look straight at the George Dixon clone throuth what was now a small river of rainwater coming down their windscreen.

And I smiled.

By the way did Mr Woodentop's number show up on the original video ? I can't see from here ?
