A solution to MP's Second Home Expenses

Call me nuts if you like, BUT ...

1. We are spending god knows how much building an olympic venue in London for 2012
2. It will have an athletes village and premier transport links to and from central london

SO When the olympics is over, I say we should

1. Find 400-odd athlete accomodation units and make them secure.
2. COMPULSORILY PURCHASE MP's "SECOND HOMES" AT THE PRICE THEY WERE THE DAY THEY ENTERED PARLIAMENT and offer them the keys to one of those olympic village flats, and an oystercard.
