TV Licence Payers Fined about 0.5p each thanks to "Woss and Bwand"

by johnofgwent

Another example of magnificent joined up government.

If you wander over to here you'll see OFCOM slapped a £150,000 fine on the Beeb for the behaviour of Messrs Ross and Brand.

Now working on the principle that there are 50 million of us in an average of 20 to 25 million houses (vast numbers living alone these days) then £150,000 works out at about 0.5 to 0.7p a house does it not. So can anyone see the BBC giving a sh*t about this ?

I can't. And not only because it's US that are paying the damn fine not them. If the board of governers had to pay that amount out of their own salaries then I's be more impressed. But not a chance of that.
