They will pay you a lump sum each week for the first months in which the new person is taken on board. And they will pay approximately two and a half thousand pounds towards to cost of training that is directly related to skills the person will need in their new job.

I know this because when the bank threw me onto the dole lots of people with sharp suits MUCH nicer than my own - all paid for by government gravy train of course - came in to commiserate with me and say how much I could get from the welsh assembly government to help. But because they waited for months after I was told I was on my ear to get off their fat arses and come and tell me this, and I got myself another job lined up inside a fortnight, I got a big fat f*** all.
